Having spent the summer in New York working I jumped at the chance to join a friend for a quick trip to Paris and London. (Check out 3 Day Trip Guide London)Since we were going to be spending just 3-4 days in each city it was essential that we plan ahead. I have boards on Pinterest and a photo folder on my iPhone with screenshots of places I spot on Instagram from the feeds of my favorite style and travel bloggers. They tend to go to Instagram-worthy destinations that fulfill both my lust for travel and lovely things.
Here is your 3 Day Trip Guide to Paris:
We arrived in Paris around 2pm and stayed in a hotel located in the east of Paris, right by the Saint-Martin canal. I love the area, the hotel was a quick find from hotels.com. I used them because I didn’t have to pay upfront otherwise, I would have tried to find cheaper and better accommodations. But the location was perfect. The places I selected places to eat that were close to the hotel or to our “play” activity for that day.
Eat: Chez Prune
We got in late so we were only able to have aperitivos. But you can’t go wrong with wine and cheese. We sat outside and people watched. Paris dining scene at this is super relaxed. So much so that a chick next to us decided to paint her nails while chatting it up with her friends.
Play: Canal St. Martin & River Cruise
Eat: Little Breizh
**We passed out and ended up going out late.
Bar: Le Calbar Paris
**Amazing music and even more amazing cocktails.
Eat: Du Pain et des Idies
Play: Versailles for the day.
**Got back later than expected so no shopping at Merci =/
Eat: Chez Marie Louise
Drinks: Le Comptoir General
After Party: La Mano (kind of strict door but we made friends at Le Comptoir that got us in)
Eat: Chez Imogene (Creperie)
Play: Jardin du Palais Royal
Play: Light show at the Eiffel Tower
Drinks: Little Red Door
